Sprinkler lines in the locker rooms are complete and the plaster is patched back. The structural steel beam in the west classroom is complete and fireproofing in the classroom and wood shop is complete. Overhead utilities are 90% complete. The locker room roof curbs were installed. The new boys and girls restroom slab was poured. The HVAC units for the main gym and boys locker room were installed.
The footings for the east and west rooms were poured. The CMU walls are progressing this month. The HVAC roof curbs have been installed. Deck inserts are complete. All overhead utilities are currently being installed in the gymnasium. The overhead sprinkler lines in the locker room are near completion. The demolition of the west classroom is complete.
General fit up and welding of the structural steel is complete. Metal decking is complete on the high roof. Underground utility work is complete for the rooms on the east and west of the gym. The footings for these rooms is dug and rebar is currently being installed. Demolition in the locker rooms has started.
Concrete stitch columns were poured and stripped. Structural steel members were received and hung. Iron workers continue to bolt and weld up the members to the structure. Grading is taking place on the outside of the building for the rooms on the east and west sides. Electrical contractor mobilized to begin underground in the gang restrooms west of the locker rooms. The new small gym HVAC units were replaced on the small gymnasium.
The tilt up walls were formed and poured. The walls were craned into place. The rebar is currently being placed in the stitch columns and they are being closed up with form work. New columns are being placed under the existing girders.

The south wall of the existing gym is completely demolished. All rubble has been removed from the jobsite. The new pad is graded and certified with the rain days. The underground sewer lines in the boys locker room are complete. The fire hydrants are installed in the east parking lot and they are workinng on backfill.
The roof demolition is complete and rubble is almost complete from being removed. The south wall is 80% demolished. All MEP systems have been demolished from the interior of the gym.The gas line has been rerouted out of the gym and over to the small gym. The back road asphalt patch is complete where the new fire water and electrical was placed.
The storm drain, water and gas line in front of the new gym have been re-routed out of the way of the new building. The fire water line on the back fire road has been installed and the Fire Department Connections has been installed and backfilled. The existing gymnasium bathrooms have been demolished. The gymnasium bleachers, basketball hoops and wood floor have been demolished. The roof is currently being demolished.
The electrical relocation portion of the project required to start the demolision finished first week of September. The power was successfully transferred to the new electrical room. Demolition began on the shade structures in the quad. The plumber has mobilized onsite to begin cutting and capping existing lines and start the utility relocation activity.
