Etiwanda HS 12 Classroom Building systems such as Fire Alarm and PA were completed and tied into building A. Punch list was created and is currently being completed by the appropriate prime contractors. The elevator equipment was connected and is operational. On the exterior the level 2 deck traffic coating was completed, and the site asphalt was patched back completing the site work. For the upcoming month the building will be going through final start up and commissioning.
The interior finishes were competed this month including white boards, tack boards, projector mounts, flooring, AV systems and HVAC startup was completed. On the exterior of the building paint, signage, and all exterior device was completed and installed along with the exterior concrete flat work was completed. For the upcoming month, the balancing of the HVAC system is in process, the interior projection screens and projectors will be installed. Also, the building systems will be tied into the campus.
On the interior of the building doors, glass, and hardware were installed to allow for the interior finishes to be installed. This included architectural casework, fire extinguisher cabinets, and T-bar. Also, this month on the interior flooring prep begun and power and lighting controls was completed. For the exterior of the building the exterior stucco was completed, and the scaffold was removed to allowing for the site work to begin. This includes site concrete, fencing, and site guardrails.
The southwest bus loading zone hard scape was completed and partial turned over to the owner for use. The north handrails and guardrails were completed and installed. The exterior shear wall was completed. The HVAC curbs and units were installed, and the roofing commenced this month. The level 2 classroom concrete was completed, and level 2 mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough in was completed and signed off. The lath and plaster are currently being installed along with the interior drywall.
Roof joists were set, and the roof was sheeted this month despite the rain days that impacted the schedule. Parapet walls have been framed and all exterior soffits have been framed. Framer is installing the last of the Level 2 roof hardware. 1st floor and 2nd floor rough in fire sprinkler and plumbing was completed. Electrical rough in ongoing and the main feeders were pulled into the building. The electrical tie into the campus for the new building was completed during the break. The Northwest bus loading zone was turned over to the district and the Southwest walkway is ongoing.
The first-floor framing was completed, and all framing hardware was installed. Second floor I-joist and sheeting were installed, and second floor framing has begun. CMU columns were completed and grouted. First floor Plumbing rough in has begun and will continue into next month. Decorative fencing has begun at retaining wall on the West side of the project.
The elevator pit walls were formed, poured, water proofed and back filled. Building Slab on Grade and wall curbs were poured. The first floor wood framing has begun. Columns, walls, and I-joists, are being installed. Concrete Masonry Units at the exterior columns also began this month. Fire Sprinklers and HVAC layout was coordinated to begin blocking.
The grading is complete for the concrete sidewalk at the West side of the site. The building footings and the elevator pit excavation were complete this month, as well as the installation of the elevator piston sleeve. The rebar and anchor bolts have been installed and forms have been set in preparation for the concrete pour. At the South West corner of the site, irrigation valve boxes and wire boxes have been relocated in preparation for the walk path extension.
